An evening with Alun Granfield (Friday) and Steve Speirs (Saturday) – last call for tickets

We are hosting two events over consecutive evenings this Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th June, and there are still limited tickets available for both.

This Friday Ponty RFC Club Historian Alun Granfield will be hosting a talk in the Clubhouse at Sardis Road about the origins of the sport of rugby football, including how it all started for Pontypridd RFC.

The talk will be a light-hearted couple of hours entertainment which will start at 7:00pm. It is a free event but places must be reserved by either E-mailing events@ponty.net, by telephoning the Club office on 01443 405006 Thursday morning or you can pop in in-person to the Clubhouse on Thursday morning to get yours.

Then on Saturday we are hosting An Evening With Steve Speirs. An actor, writer and comedian, the evening with Steve will consist of Stand up comedy, Storytelling and a Q&A session – all in conjunction with Beefy’s Comedy Club.

It will be hosted by Carl Morgan and Steve will be supported by opening act Paul James. The evening is for Over 18’s only, doors will open at 6:30pm in readiness for a 7:30pm start.
