The WRU have today announced the return of senior rugby in Wales following a week hiatus as a mark of respect for Queen Elizabeth II passing away. The match against Bridgend this Saturday will be the first of two matches in as many weeks against the men from the Brewery Field, they return to Sardis Road the following week for a clash in the Indigo Group Premiership.
Last season, due to the nature of the shortened league season post-covid the two sides only met on one occasion – on Thursday 17th March 2022 Ponty put in a fantastic performance which included nine tries to secure a 54-17 victory at the Brewery Field in front of the S4C cameras.
