Parti Ponty 2008

Pontypridd RFC players will be out and about at Ynysangharad Park this coming Saturday 5th July, as part of the town’s annual extravaganza – Parti Ponty.

Members of the Ponty squad will be linking up with RCT’s very own jolly green giant “Rhys Cycle”, promoting the idea of recycling and handing out gifts and goodies to the assembled crowds.

Parti Ponty 2008 will get underway at the Park on Saturday 5th July at 11am and continue until 5pm. Amongst the attractions will be crafts, stalls, funfair rides, performances by local schools and guest artists, and a host of other activities.

The event is being organised by Menter Iaith – for further details or more general information about promoting the Welsh language in Rhondda Cynon Taf, call 01443 226386.

When Parti Ponty draws to a close at 5pm, a barbeque will commence at Pontypridd RFC, celebrating 10 years of the club’s Mini & Junior sections.
