Sporting Memories at Pontypridd RFC

Sporting Memories is a charity that helps people to reminiscence, replay and reconnect through the power of sport and physical activity.

They have over 20 active clubs across Wales, including one at Pontypridd Rugby Club. They support a wide range of people aged 50-plus including those living with dementia, living with depression or facing isolation and loneliness to improve their mental and physical wellbeing through their regular club sessions.

Several members of the group are fans and ex-players of Pontypridd RFC and have followed the club for many years.  The club meet every Thursday at the Sardis Road clubhouse from 10.30am until 12noon. They love talking about different sports both past and present, they enjoy sports quizzes, light activities, guest speakers and visiting other clubs across Wales.

If you would like to join them please just come along, there is no need to book.
