Josh Hawkins came up through the ranks of his local club Rhydyfelin, and also travelled to New Zealand to play for the Ponsonby club in Auckland.
Having returned home, Josh was a key member of the Rhydyfelin team that won promotion to the Championship in the 2016-17 season, making his mark as an abrasive second rower.
A step up to Premiership level with Pontypridd followed in 2017. Josh scored one try in his two year stint with Ponty, making seventeen appearances before returning to Rhydyfelin.
