Roy Hope, who played alongside his brother Richard in the Ponty threequarter line, was a long standing servant of the club during the 1960s.
His phenomenal goal kicking abilities helped the club to its league successes during that period, with a tally of 11 tries, 291 conversions, 233 penalties and 14 drop goals registered to his name.
