Courtesy of his globetrotting tendencies, Canadian international hooker Pat Riordan arrived in Ynysybwl on his travels, and stayed for a while to play for Pontypridd.
He became a regular in the club’s premiership campaign of 2003/04, making his mark as a mobile and industrious hooker.
