Rhondda boy Corrie Tarrant was developed through the ranks of Pontypridd Youth and the Blues age grade system, capped for Wales at youth and then under 20 level.
A strong scrummaging hooker, Corrie was allocated to play for Pontypridd at senior level from the Blues Academy, then when released by the region, joined up with the club in 2017. His stay at Sardis Road was to be a short one as he departed to represent Premiership rivals Cardiff.
