The rainbow shirt is here!

The new Pontypridd RFC rainbow jersey has arrived, as kit supplier VX3 confirms that all items that were pre-ordered by supporters through the club have now been manufactured and dispatched.

The exciting and innovative shirt was designed by Replay Images, the club’s image partners, in tribute to the NHS front-line staff’s contribution during the Covid-19 pandemic, and emphasising Ponty Rugby’s core community values – now even more poignant as we enter another full lockdown in Wales.

Supporters will be receiving their new jerseys over the coming forty-eight hours.

During the downtime of the coronavirus pandemic, the arrival of the new Ponty shirt will provide hope for the future and will give supporters some multi-coloured positivity whilst further emphasising the role of Pontypridd RFC as a community and family orientated club for the generations to come.

Pontypridd RFC would like to take this opportunity to thank supporters who pre-ordered the new NHS jersey, and in the hope that the team will be running out at Sardis Road in rainbow colours soon.

In line with the launch of the new shirt a special Supporters’ Gallery will be set up on the club website displaying photographs of fans wearing their new kit – where ever they may be.
