The Bargoed match
Pontypridd will play their final pre-season friendly against Championship opposition Bargoed this coming Saturday 11th September.
Whilst the main focus will be on the Ponty v Bargoed match which kicks off at 2:30pm, there is much else going on during the day and into the evening to keep supporters fully occupied.
The gates at Sardis Road will be open from 12 noon, admission for the Bargoed friendly priced at £10 (£8 concessions, under 16s free when accompanied by a paying adult) with access through the main Clubhouse end gates only. The match is being kindly sponsored by Carter Lauren Construction Ltd.
At 12:30pm the Premiership football match between Crystal Palace and Spurs will be screened live.
Post-match, from 5:30pm there will be a special presentation in the Clubhouse in honour of departing Ponty captain Dafydd Lockyer.
Into the evening, from 6:30pm, there will be live entertainment provided by guest band ‘Vale of Jamorgan’ – not to be missed.
There will be warm welcome awaiting all who attend the Pontypridd v Bargoed match on Saturday, with top rugby action, a tribute to Ponty legend Daf Lockyer and live music into the night.
