Pontypridd Youth Head Coach Update and Player Recruitment 

The recent advertisement for the new Head Coach for Pontypridd Youth to take us into the 2022/23 season we are pleased to report has generated a fantastic response, and an announcement in regard to the appointment of this role will be made imminently along with the rest of the coaching / management team.

The club is developing a playing strategy that will fully embed a player pathway between the Youth and Senior Team with the focus on the development of the player base within this pathway to be ready to play for the Senior XV.

With the strong ties being established with the Mini and Junior Section, the focus will also include the successful transition of the junior player base into the Youth player pathway.

To build further on our vision we now look forward to recruiting new players to join our squad of players that will transition from the existing successful u16s squad.

Recruitment for the Youth squad has therefore now begun and any new or old unaffiliated players wishing to join Pontypridd Youth and be part of this exciting new journey are encouraged to do so, as well as any potential players with no prior playing experience as a competent coaching framework is in place to help you make this transition.

It is intended that throughout May and June a series of open days will be arranged for the current group of prospective Youth team members along with any new recruits to enable them to come together before pre-season training will officially commence.  Further information will follow shortly with the announcement regarding the coaching / management team
