Premiership Select XV named to meet Bristol

There will be a strong Pontypridd contingent in the Blues Premiership Select XV to face Bristol at Sardis Road on Saturday 14th October.

The first match in Pool 2 of the British & Irish Cup will be played at Sardis Road, kicking off at 2:30pm.

The Premiership Select team will be pitted against the toughest of opponents, facing a Bristol outfit who sit on top of the English Championship with six wins out of six. In their bid to return to the top tier of English rugby, Bristol have been posting some big results, exemplified by their 47pts to 26 home win over London Scottish last time out.

The Blues select XV has been drawn from the region’s three Premiership clubs, and including a number of academy players.
