Matchday Preview – Llandovery v Pontypridd

Pontypridd travel to play Llandovery at Church Bank Playing Fields on Saturday 10th September in the Indigo Group Premiership, the match kicks off at 2:30pm.

The clubs met twice in the space of two weeks last season, both matches at Church Bank. On the 27th February 2022 tries from Ceri Morris, Cole Swannack, Dale Stuckey and Kris Parker earned Ponty an impressive 34-18 bonus-point win in the league. A little over two weeks later on Sunday 12th March, Llandovery took the spoils by 12 points to 3 in the quarter-final of the Indigo Group Premiership Cup.

Last Saturday 3rd September Llandovery got their season off to a winning start by beating Carmarthen Quins 19-3 away from home.

The Pontypridd RFC Supporters Club are organising transport to Church Bank, the bus will depart Sardis Road at 11:00am. There are still some spaces on the bus, to book a seat to Llandovery please call Phil Lycett on 01443 662561. Prior to the bus leaving, the clubhouse will be open for supporters from 10:00am.

Please note, the Supporters Club will be organising transport to all our away league matches this season. The cost of just about everything in life is increasing, and Edwards Coaches are no different. Therefore the price of a seat on the bus (excluding RGC away) this season will be £10 per person.
