Social Sardis this weekend

The Clubhouse at Sardis Road is going to be a busy place this weekend, and we’d like you to join us…

Friday 3rd –

The monthly Ponty RFC Quiz Night takes place. The reboot of our Quiz Nights this season are proving to be popular, participation numbers are increasing as the months pass. The popular contest offers great fun with a competitive edge – teams of up to six members can take part, with entry charged at £1 per person and all fees returned to the prize pot.

The bar will be open at 7:00pm, contestants and supporters are requested to turn up at 7:30pm for a prompt 8pm start – it’s a lot of fun!

Saturday 4th –

Saturday sees the start of the 2023 Six Nations Championship and we’ll be showing both matches live for your enjoyment.

The Clubhouse opens at midday before Wales get the action underway against Ireland in Cardiff, kick-off is at 2:15pm. Wales’ match is followed by the Calcutta Cup match between England and Scotland.

There will also be complimentary food during Wales’ match. Saturday’s schedule –

• Wales v Ireland – kick-off 2:15pm
• England v Scotland – kick-off 4:45pm
