The Ponty Rugby Show with special guest Cally James

The GTFM Ponty Rugby Show will be broadcast at 6:45pm on Wednesday evening 22nd February and joining Adam Cleary as the special guest this week is Ponty flanker Cally James.

Impressing as an abrasive blind-side flanker, Cally was capped by Wales at Youth and under 20 levels and was allocated to the Ponty senior squad from the regional academy in 2019. Having added to his international status with a call-up to the Wales Sevens squad, he re-joined Pontypridd at the commencement of the 2021-22 campaign and has been an integral part of Ponty’s back-row ever since. Cally will be chatting to Adam about a number of different subjects so make sure you tune in.

Guto Davies will be presenting the regular Newsround section which will include a round-up of all the goings-on both on and off the pitch at Sardis Road. He will also be previewing this Friday evening’s Valleys Derby match away against Merthyr in the Welsh Premiership.

GTFM has expanded its FM coverage and can now reach the whole of the Cynon Valley – on 107.1 FM for the Aberdare area and 100.7 for Mountain Ash. Broadcasts for Pontypridd and the rest of RCT continue on 107.9FM. The channel can also be accessed on-line and by app.
