Mini & Juniors accept donation in memory of Stephen J F Allen

Pontypridd RFC recently lost one of its most faithful supporters, Stephen J F Allen, with a minute’s silence held in his honour before the home match against Ebbw Vale on Saturday 4th November.

Stephen’s family requested that in lieu of flowers at his funeral, donations could be made to the Mini & Junior sections of Pontypridd RFC. The monies collected were passed on to the section by Stephen’s daughter Kerry.

The following message of thanks has been passed on by Mark Langford on behalf of the section:

“The Pontypridd RFC Mini & Junior section would like to pass on their heartfelt and sincere thanks to the family of the late Stephen J F Allen for so kindly nominating them to receive donations in lieu of flowers for Stephen’s recent funeral.

“Stephen’s daughter Kerry passed on the donations to a section representative before Saturday’s home game against Ebbw Vale and the money donated will be used to help fund training equipment requirements for all ages within the section for the coming season.

“The section would also like to express to the family and friends of Stephen their sincere condolences at this difficult time.”
