The Ponty Rugby Show – Welsh Cup semi-final special

The GTFM Ponty Rugby Show will be broadcast at 6:45pm on Wednesday evening 22nd March and this week it’s going to be something a little different. Pontypridd have had an excellent Welsh Cup pedigree over the years and ahead of this Saturday’s semi-final against Newport, Guto Davies will be looking back at some of Ponty’s famous semi-final wins from the previous years. Classic encounters from the 1990s and from the first decades of the new century will be recalled.

As usual Guto will also be presenting the regular Newsround section which will include a round-up of all the latest news at the club as well as a preview of the team’s Welsh Cup semi-final this Saturday, against Newport at the Brewery Field.

GTFM has expanded its FM coverage and can now reach the whole of the Cynon Valley – on 107.1 FM for the Aberdare area and 100.7 for Mountain Ash. Broadcasts for Pontypridd and the rest of RCT continue on 107.9FM. The channel can also be accessed on-line and by app.
