Stars in Their Eyes

On Saturday Evening 25th November our Stars in Their Eyes event took place in the Clubhouse at Sardis Road. The night was packed with laughter, entertainment and some talent…

The large crowd in attendance saw the Pontypridd RFC playing squad impersonating famous showbiz stars, we had –

Sion Parry and Aled Ward as Oasis, Josh Phillips as Lightening McQueen, Ben Stephens and Tom Harper performing as Uncle Bryn and Nessa from Gavin and Stacey, Macauley Cook as rapper Eminem, Harvey Nash and Curtis Greenslade as X-Factor contestants Ant and Seb, Cally James, Cai James and McCauley Rowley as girl band Atomic Kitten, Kristian Parker and Morgan Bosanko performing as Elton John and Kiki Dee and Ceri Morris singing his heart out as Dafydd Iwan.

After much deliberation and in-depth adjudication, the results were as follows –

• 3rd place – Atomic Kitten
• 2nd place – Ant and Seb

And the winner was Dafydd Iwan…Llongyfarchiadau Ceri Morris!
