All the best Kev

Official Club photographer Kevin Rudge has stepped down from his role at Pontypridd RFC. Kevin came onboard with the Club in early 2018 covering a mixture of Pontypridd matches along with USW, Coleg y Cymoedd and some of the other sides that play at Sardis Road.

When rugby restarted after the global Covid-19 pandemic, Kevin stepped up and became the Club’s official photographer and with that an integral part of the Media Team at Sardis Road. The sun, rain, ice or any of the other forms of the South Wales weather was irrelevant, the quality of Kevin’s work has always been second to none and it has always been appreciated by the Ponty faithful over the years.

But owing to work, increased family commitments and relocating to Porthcawl, Kevin has decided to end his six year association with Pontypridd RFC. On his departure, Ponty Media Officer Geraint Thomas said:

“I’d like to place on record both my sincere personal thanks as well as thanks on behalf of Pontypridd RFC to Kev for all his hard work over the years. He’s been a vital part of the Club’s media team over the last three seasons and the quality of his images has been there for all to see. Kev has been a pleasure to work with, and has always been happy to support me in my role providing me with his images for the Club to use in its media output. I would like to wish him and his wife Teri all the best for their move to Porthcawl, but don’t be a stranger to Sardis Road.”

All the best Kev
