Ponty Youth head for Pencoed friendly

Pontypridd Youth take a break from competitive league action with an away friendly against Pencoed Youth on Saturday 20th January, the match kicking off at 2:30pm.

Ponty come into this game against Ospreys A League opposition on the back of a disappointing first league defeat of the campaign, away to Mountain Ash by 11pts to 8 the previous Saturday.

Despite that reverse, Pontypridd remain as Blues A League leaders, but with reigning champions Rumney Youth close on their heels, three points behind and with a game in hand.

The Pencoed friendly is a late fixture change for Pontypridd Youth, with the scheduled league tie away to Cardiff University called off.
