Ponty Schools double header at Sardis

There will be a double bill of Schools Rugby at Sardis Road on Thursday evening 1st February as Pontypridd under 15s host both Aberavon and Vale of Glamorgan.

The action will get underway at 6pm in a development fixture as Pontypridd take on their Aberavon counterparts.

The main event at 7:15pm will be a Dewar Shield tie between Pontypridd Schools and Vale of Glamorgan Schools.

The Pontypridd Schools squad were visited by Blues coaches Danny Wilson and Matt Sherratt at the USW Sports Centre as they prepared for their matches (pictured above).

Ponty are pushing hard to finish top of the Dewar table before the play-off rounds of the tournament, and are currently in second position three points adrift of Cardiff. Their next opponents Vale of Glamorgan are bottom placed so far without a win.

Admission to the Schools double bill at Sardis Road will be charged at £2.
