Pontypridd v Brecon – Match Preview

On Saturday 16th November Pontypridd RFC welcome Brecon RFC to Sardis Road in the Admiral Premiership, kick-off is 2:30pm.

Saturday’s maiden contest between the two clubs pits 1st against 5th in the current standings, and Ponty will be looking to get back to winning ways following last Saturday’s 3-point loss at Merthyr. Brecon’s Head Coach is a certain Dale McIntosh, and the greatest respect he will want to give to his old club is getting a ‘W’ at the venue where he portrayed his best work over many years.

Whilst we are talking about club legends who have given everything to Pontypridd RFC over a couple of decades, Saturday’s match will be the swansong of current Head Coach Chris Dicomidis who will be departing for Cardiff Rugby. Also leaving the Club is our Head of Medical Services Kath Deverson who is taking up a role at Cardiff Devils ice hockey team. Everyone at Pontypridd RFC would once again like to thank both Chris and Kath and wish them well for their future careers.
