Pontypridd RFC and USW – A Continuing Partnership

Pontypridd RFC and USW have been partners for a number of years, with the University now into its second season as the Club’s main shirt sponsor. The links have been built and remain as strong as ever, and they continue to both benefit and help to drive up the standards at Ponty RFC.

USW’s strategic mission statement is:

Pontypridd RFC Chairman Phil Miles is full of praise for USW and the links that have been forged with the Club, he said: “Having the University of South Wales, The Valleys University, as our main sponsor highlights the importance that these two great establishments have engaging within the local community.

USW’s support has not only boosted the morale of every team member, but has also empowered us to strive for excellence in every game and has highlighted the importance of higher education.

The importance USW plays in our player pathway is second to none, with invaluable support from USW Sport, and in particular USW Strength and Conditioning.
