Ponty to face Cambrian and Clifton pre-season

Pontypridd have two pre-season fixtures confirmed, at home to Cambrian Welfare and away to Clifton.

On Saturday 11th August 2018 Pontypridd will host Rhondda neighbours Cambrian Welfare at Sardis Road with the match kicking off at 2:30pm.

Cambrian last season finished a close second to Gilfach Goch in Division 2 East Central of the WRU leagues, and gained revenge on their opponents by claiming the Mid District Bowl in the final tie played at Sardis on 11th May.

On Saturday 18th August Pontypridd will travel across the Severn Estuary to play Bristol based club Clifton RFC in a friendly that will kick off at 3pm.

Ponty hosted English Division 2 South side Clifton in a pre-season encounter at Cilfynydd  last August and claimed a 47pts to 26 victory.

Pontypridd are still seeking opponents to play a friendly match on Saturday 4th August to complete their pre-season fixture itinerary.
