Knott for Ponty

Pontypridd have drafted centre Alex Knott into their senior squad in preparation for the coming season.

Having impressed in a number of appearances at the end of last season, on permit from Nelson RFC, and nominated as man of the match in the games at home to Carmarthen and away to Newport, Knott has been rewarded with a placement in the Pontypridd squad.

The 24 year old came up through the ranks with Caerphilly Youth before joining Nelson and will now step up to Premiership level with Pontypridd. A creative influence in the outside centre berth, Alex Knott will undoubtedly be a valuable addition to the Ponty ranks.
