Walsh on the move
Geraint Walsh, who played a prominent role in the success of Pontypridd RFC over the past six seasons, is now departing the club.
The full back, who could cover as winger or centre, made a huge impact when he joined Ponty from Loughborough University in 2012, his dynamic attacking play making him a firm favourite with spectators. He was nominated as Premiership Player of the Year and earned a call up to the Blues regional squad in 2014, also being capped by Wales Sevens.
Having made 112 appearances for Pontypridd, scoring 30 tries and 4 conversions, totalling 164 points, Geraint Walsh has now elected to move on to seek his opportunities elsewhere. He leaves Sardis Road with the sincere thanks of all who enjoyed his thrilling performances, and with best wishes for his future endeavours.
