Ponty Schools on show in Valleys Initiative Rugby Festival

The Pontypridd Valleys Initiative will hold its first festival of the new season on Friday evening 31st August, with the main event of Pontypridd Schools taking on their Bridgend counterparts.

The festival on the 3G pitch at Sardis Road will commence at 4:30pm with mini & junior teams from Pontypridd, Porth, Llantwit Fardre, Beddau, Wattstown, Tondu and Maesteg Celtic all involved. There will also be a contest between WRU Girls’ Clusters as Bridgers u11s take on Timbers u11s.

The main event will see reigning Dewar Shield champions Pontypridd Schools hosting Bridgend in a friendly encounter that kicks off at  7:15pm.

Entry to the Rugby Festival will be charged at £2 with food, refreshments and activities available around the stadium.
