All set for the Ponty RFC Beer Fest
Sardis Road is all set to host the first Pontypridd RFC Beer Festival over the coming weekend.
Commencing at 7pm on Friday 27th September, the festival will run all day Saturday from 12 noon to 11pm and for those with any stamina or any beer stocks left, will round off on Sunday dinner time 12 noon until 2pm.
A full programme of entertainment is scheduled for Saturday, with a line-up of artists including Fil Ziebicki (Merthyr), David Bayliss (Pontypridd), Judith & Keith Thomas (Pontardawe), Bob Evans (Brecon), Jamie Bevan (Merthyr), Peter Morley (Caerphilly) and Alan Hancocks (Merthyr).
Taking centre stage from 7:30pm onwards will be local band Vintage Tools.
A wide range of local beers, craft ales and ciders will be on tap during the festival, which has Grey Trees and the Glamorgan Brewing Co as its main sponsors.
Other breweries whose various products will be on sale are:- Mabbey Brewery, VOG Brewery, Bragdy Twt Lol, Bang On Brewery, Gower Brewery, Gwynt y Ddraig, Williams Brothers and Llanblethian Orchards.
Admission to the Pontypridd RFC Beer Festival is free, it will be a great social event and all are most welcome to attend.
