Captain’s New Year Blog
It feels like ages since the last time writing one of these with plenty to reflect on, throughout the highs and lows, my pride for captaining this huge club never waivers.
Firstly I hope everyone associated with the club had a lovely Christmas and I wish you all a happy New Year.
Since the last blog we only went and played our best game of the season away from home at one of the in-form teams within the league, Aberavon. The shift that the boys put in showed the heart and character needed to make the club successful, which allowed us to progress to the semi-final of the cup.
Although we are far from the finished article, the boys are working hard in training alongside the coaching set up to achieve more positive results, and that is a New Year’s resolution we promise to keep.
It has been brilliant to link in with the community more with the help of Phil Miles from High Motive. Alongside myself, Morgan Bosanko, Cally James, Cai James and Niko Matawalu dressed up as elves to support the senior citizens’ Christmas dinner which was fantastic and it was great to be able to help those who support us so much.
Roll on the new year, ole!
