Celebrating our Former Players as we approach 50 years at Sardis Road

September 2024 will mark the 50 year anniversary of Sardis Road being the home of Pontypridd RFC.  During that time the Club has witnessed some epic games of rugby and we’ve seen some of the greatest players to have ever played our sport run out onto the hallowed turf.

As we approach our 50th season at Sardis, the Club wants to recognise any player who has played 100 or more matches for Pontypridd RFC, by offering a free Life Membership through the Former Players Association.

Commenting on the gesture from the Club, Ponty RFC Executive Board Member Mark Coombes said: “We are very pleased to be able to recognise the contribution that players have made to this club over the decades. There are individuals that have given real committed service to Pontypridd over the years and the Club would like to reward them for their efforts through this new initiative.”
