FPA club donation gratefully received

The Pontypridd RFC Former Players’ Association have presented the club with a cheque to the amount of £2,000, the funds raised during its recent Annual Luncheon.

The FPA Luncheon was held on Saturday 19th May 2018 in the Grandstand Lounge at Sardis Road, with popular BBC broadcaster Phil Steele as guest speaker. A sell-out crowd attended the event, with past players from various generations meeting up along with guests and sponsors.

The role of the Former Players’ Association in maintaining old friendships and actively contributing to the future of Pontypridd RFC is one that is greatly valued.

Receiving the latest donation, Ponty Rugby Director of Finance Peter Howells commented:

“We are again extremely grateful to the FPA for their efforts in raising funds for our club. The Annual Luncheon held on the 19th May was a great success, well planned and well attended.

“It is good that our past players can keep in contact and continue to actively contribute to the progress of our club.”
