Eddie Jones, or simply “Bones” to all that knew him at Sardis Road, served the club as player, captain, coach, team manager and director.
The pinnacle of his career as a player was to lead Pontypridd, following a mediocre chapter in their history, to a championship winning campaign in 1963.
He joined the elite group of players who had represented Pontypridd over 300 times, before embarking on an equally illustrious career as club administrator.
Eddie left Pontypridd to become Director of Rugby at Aberavon.
