Hailing from Heol-y-Cyw, Jake Lloyd already had prior experience of playing in the Welsh Premiership for Bridgend Ravens. He signed for Pontypridd RFC in January 2022 and claimed the WRU Man of the Match award on his Club debut after the team’s win away at RGC later that month, bagging himself 15 points in the process.
Chances for Jake during the 2022/23 season became scarce and he departed Ponty having made 12 appearances and scoring 74 points in total for the Club.
