A native of the Rhiwbina district of Cardiff, Sion Parry played for his village side and for nearby Whitchurch at junior and youth levels.
After another season with Rhiwbina at senior level, Sion’s performances as a dynamic open-side flanker earned him a call up to Premiership level with Bedwas RFC in 2018, then answering a call to join up with Pontypridd the following summer.
Sion signed for Pontypridd in 2019, making 64 appearances for the Valley Commandos and also made his international debut for Canada in the summer of 2023 – a proud moment for both Sion and Pontypridd RFC.
