Contract type – Part Time

Job Description –

In this part time role you will be involved with an innovative, successful rugby structure. Working with the Director of Rugby and senior coaches, you will develop a structure for Pontypridd Youth to support the senior team and further the players transition through to the Pontypridd Senior Squad.

Key Responsibilities –

– Leading the coaching for Pontypridd Youth

– Coaching support for senior sessions

– Creating Individual Development Plans for the Players

– Monitoring the annual playing programmes and game time of the Players

– Supporting the off-field development of the Players in line with the aims of Pontypridd RFC

– Attending weekly senior coach meetings to update and stay connected with senior needs

– Provide specific support for individual players, utilising senior coaches as required

Person Specification –

– Qualified Level 3 coach (or have the desire to achieve this in the next 12 months)

– Strong communication skills

– Adaptable and innovative

– The ability to build relationships quickly, engaging with different cultures and backgrounds

– Availability to work flexible hours, evenings and weekends, to attend all training session, plus home and

away games (league and cup)
