Match Preview – Pontypridd v Bridgend
This Saturday 17th September we welcome Bridgend to Sardis Road for a Premiership Cup tie. The match, in Group B of the newly tweaked Welsh Cup competition kicks off at 2:30pm.
Saturday’s match will be the first of two clashes in as many weeks against the men from the Brewery Field, they return to Sardis Road the following week in the Indigo Group Premiership.

There are two changes to the starting XV that was due to take to the field last Saturday at Llandovery – ultimately the match didn’t go ahead because of the passing of Queen Elizabeth II.
In the backline Lloyd Rowlands returns to the side on the left wing and up front Ryan Spriggs earns his first start for the club at hooker. On the right wing Chad Davies will make his debut for the club a week later than scheduled and on the bench Nathan Huish comes into the matchday squad for his first competitive involvement of the season.

Tickets – Please note that despite this being a Welsh Cup match, entry is included on season tickets for Pontypridd supporters. If you haven’t collected your season ticket yet, you can do so from the Clubhouse on Saturday between 12:30pm-2pm prior to the match.
Admission on the day will be £12 full, £10 concession access-all-areas and under 16’s free if accompanied by a paying adult. You can purchase tickets on the day or to save time can use our new online e-Ticket system, link – e-Tickets
Supporter access is via the clubhouse end of the ground only as the Pwllgwaun end remains closed.
Live sport off the field – The Clubhouse will be open from midday, shortly after that we’ll have live coverage of Wolves v Manchester City in the Premier League, kick-off at 12:30pm. Later in the afternoon our screens will be showing live rugby action of Harlequins v Saracens in the Gallagher English Premiership.
Live entertainment – After the match there will be entertainment from band Valley Uprising. They will be starting their set around 5:30pm in the Clubhouse.
