Morris and Hayman depart

Pontypridd RFC can confirm that centre Ceri Morris and winger Sam Hayman have left the club.

Ceri joined up with Pontypridd in the summer of 2021 to bolster the club’s midfield selection as a centre who could also cover at outside half. He was a regular member of the matchday squad in his first two seasons at the Club but has found playing opportunities a little more difficult to come by during the current campaign.

Ceri made 40 appearances for Ponty during his time at the Club.

Sam Hayman initially joined Ponty on permit from his local club Pencoed RFC towards the end of the 2021/22 season and made his debut off the bench away against RGC in April 2022.

Sam signed permanently for Pontypridd RFC in readiness for the 2022-23 season and went on to make 11 appearances for the Club in total.
