NHS tribute – Tom David
Tue 19th May
Tom David is the latest Pontypridd icon and former club captain to pay tribute to the heroic efforts of NHS front-line workers.
The abrasive flanker’s reputation extends world-wide following his exploits for Wales and the British Lions, but he has always remained true to his roots, Rhydyfelin born and having represented Pontypridd Schools and Pontypridd Youth before breaking into the senior ranks.
Tom racked up a total of 404 appearances for the club between 1967 and 1981.During that time he scored an incredible 171 tries and even added 1 conversion!
His association with the club has continued to this day as an ambassador and a benefactor.
