Iestyn Harris was appointed Pontypridd Assistant Coach in the summer of 2024, a role which he would combine with that of Skills Coach.
Iestyn played three matches for Pontypridd towards the end of 2017 as a fledgling youngster whilst linked to the Cardiff Blues academy. The Rhondda native would go on to have a stellar career in the professional game with Cardiff Rugby and the Exeter Chiefs whilst gaining international honours with Wales U16s, U18s and U20s.
Iestyn was part of the Exeter side that won the 2023 Premiership Rugby Cup Final but he unfortunately had to retire from the sport at the end of the 2023/24 season on medical grounds. Moving onto the next chapter in his career, Iestyn returned to Sardis Road as part of the Club’s young, vibrant coaching team ahead of the 2024/25 campaign.
