Outside half Jacob Symes signed for Pontypridd RFC ahead of the 2024/25 season from Swansea RFC. The former Cardiff Rugby Academy player had previously been capped by Wales U18s.
The Rhondda product had been out in Australia in 2023 playing for the Vikings Club in Canberra, and helping the Brumbies U19s win their respective Super Rugby Australia age grade competition.
