Ponty Schools back on the Dewar Shield trail with home tie against Bridgend

Pontypridd Schools under 15s resume their Dewar Shield campaign with a home tie against Bridgend Schools at Sardis Road on Friday evening 31st January.

The match will kick off at 7pm but will be preceded by a series of curtain raisers involving Pontypridd and Pontyclun under 9s and Pontypridd, Abercynon and Abercwmboi under 10s. Admission to the event will be charged at £3 (under 16s free when accompanied by a responsible adult).

Pontypridd Schools have not played since the 8th of December when they secured an emphatic victory by 24pts to 41 away to RGC. Lying fifth in the Dewar Shield table, Pontypridd are only three points adrift of leaders Cardiff and crucially have a game in hand.
