Ponty Youth in cup action against Brecon

The season takes a different turn for Pontypridd Youth on Saturday 21st October as they host Brecon in the second round of the National Youth Cup.

The match will be played at Sardis Road kicking off at 2:30pm.

Ponty Youth gained a bye in the first round of the cup as their scheduled hosts Gwernyfed pulled out of the fixture. Brecon in the meantime posted an emphatic 42pts to 27 win over Abergavenny to progress in the competition.

A run of three consecutive victories in the Blues A League, over Mountain Ash, Cardiff University and Aberdare, has given Pontypridd momentum which they will now seek to carry over into the National Cup.

With no senior fixture on the day, the Ponty Youth cup tie against Brecon will give supporters a great opportunity to get behind the team.
