Ponty Youth host Penarth in Premiership Tier 1 opener

Pontypridd Youth commence the second phase of their league campaign with a Blues Premiership Tier 1 home tie against Penarth on Saturday 18th January, the match at Sardis Road kicking off at 2:30pm.

The new league tier combines the top four from the previous two Blues Premierships (Blue and Black), and will be contested by Abercynon, Aberdare, Cardiff Met, Cardiff Quins, Llanishen, Penarth, Pontypridd and St Peters.

Ponty Youth finished second in the Blues Premiership (Blue), two points behind Cardiff Met although having played one game less.

Continuing their successful campaign on all fronts, Ponty Youth gained a 0pts to 10 away win at Builth Wells in the quarter final round of the Blues Cup on the previous weekend.
