Pontypridd sign Rory Harries

Pontypridd RFC are delighted to announce the signing of scrum-half Rory Harries from Bedwas RFC.

Rory joins the club from Bedwas, but he also spent time with Cardiff RFC last season and played for the Blue & Blacks against Ponty at Sardis Road last November in the Welsh Premiership Cup competition.

He’s represented the Cardiff Blues U16’s and U18’s at Age Grade level, earned representative honours with Wales Students as well as playing for North Otago in New Zealand.

On signing for Pontypridd Rory said: “I’m grateful for the opportunity to represent such a well established club and I’m looking forward to having a successful season with the boys.”

Ponty Head Coach Justin Burnell said of Rory’s signing: “Rory is a very sharp and exciting player and he will add depth and competition to our squad for the coming season.”
