Pontypridd v Newcastle Emlyn – Match Preview

On Saturday 19th April Pontypridd RFC host Newcastle Emlyn RFC at Sardis Road in the Admiral Premiership, kick-off will be 2:30pm.

The Valley Commandos travelled to Dôl Wiber prior to Christmas, on Saturday 14th December and bagged a 38-0 win – that was the first ever meeting between the two clubs.

Pontypridd head into tomorrow’s match knowing only a win will suffice if they have any chance of catching Merthyr at the top of the Premiership standings.

TEAM NEWS –

Ponty have made four changes to the XV that started at Pandy Park last Saturday, and there’s another two new faces that have come onto the bench.

Ben Stephens, Rob Jones and Rhys Emmott are the three who have come into the pack. Jacob Symes is the new face that has come into the backline and on the bench winger Josh Jackson is on permit from Carmarthen Quins and could make his debut.

Unavailability – All the players that are not involved tomorrow are either injured or unavailable as the business end of the season takes its toll.
