Pre season schedule taking shape

The dust has only just settled on last season but both eyes are firmly on preparations for the 2022/23 campaign and we are keen to keep our supporters up to date with our pre-season schedule.

Last week we announced the Sardis 7s – an exciting 7’s rugby event that will take place over 3 days from Friday 5^th to Sunday 7^th August at Sardis Road.

We can now announce a further two matches for August 2022 –

On Saturday 13^th August we will play London Welsh at Sardis Road. The two clubs were due to play each other in the pre-season of 2021 but due to the ever-changing covid restrictions at the time the match was postponed. However, the two clubs have maintained correspondence and we are pleased to be able to welcome the men from Old Deer Park to South Wales once again.

The Anglo-Welsh clashes don’t stop there, building on the links from the summer of 2021 we are also pleased to announce that the Trailfinders Rugby Academy will be heading west up the M4 and across the border to play Ponty on Friday 19^th August at Sardis Road.

We are also hoping to confirm a match for Saturday 27^th August – the club will keep you up to date with this potential fixture in the near future, as well as the finer details such as kick-off times for the other matches.
