Premiership round up – 21/09/19

Cardiff maintained a 100% record in the Premiership to claim top spot following the round of games played on 21st September.
The capital side came away from Llanelli with a bonus point 10pts to 33 victory, leaving their hosts so far pointless and bottom of the table.
Aberavon kept close on Cardiff’s tails with a 24pts to 14 home win over Swansea whilst reigning champions Merthyr ran in six tries as they saw off Ebbw Vale at Y Wern by 42pts to 21.
There were home wins also for Llandovery, by 29pts to 20 against RGC, and Pontypridd who edged out Carmarthen Quins by 20pts to 17.
The Sunday fixture between Newport and Bridgend was postponed.
