Sieniawski’s return
As a new season approaches, Pontypridd RFC can welcome back one of its most influential players of recent times as Morgan Sieniawski returns to the fold.
Having come up through the junior ranks at Llantwit Fardre, Sieniawski was drafted into the Blues Academy from where he was allocated to Cardiff RFC, and won international honours with Wales from youth to under 20 level. He was a consistently outstanding performer for Ponty, covering across the back row, after he joined the club in 2017.
His top form at Premiership level earned Sieniawski a deserved call up to the senior Wales Sevens squad in 2020, featuring in a number of World Series tournaments. Following the disbandment of the national sevens set-up, he decided to take a direct return ticket to his local club Pontypridd.
Sieniawski’s undoubted ability, his versatility and his experience at international level will provide a huge boost to Pontypridd in preparation for the forthcoming campaign. These qualities have already been evident during the club’s pre-season matches as Sieniawski has taken on a new role in the centre position.
Morgan Sieniawski has so far made 62 senior appearances for Pontypridd, scoring 16 tries.
