Stuckey moves into 5th on our all-time top try scoring list

The 2024/25 season has been a campaign of milestones for Ponty winger Dale Stuckey. Dale made his 200th appearance for the Club on 7th February against Cross Keys at Sardis, before scoring his 100th try just over a month later against Merthyr on the 22nd March.

Dale’s 100th Ponty try put him joint-sixth on our all-time list with Paul John, this was prior to last Saturday afternoon’s match at Pandy Park when Pontypridd played Cross Keys for a third time in just over two months. The Valley Commandos earned a 27-15 win in which Stuckey bagged a brace of tries, and those two scores moved him up into 5th place on the club’s all-time list overtaking another legendary winger Brian Juliff.

On his latest landmark, Dale said: “It’s a massive achievement for myself and a huge honour to be mentioned amongst the greats of Ponty RFC.”

He now has fourth-placed Robert Davies in his sights…
