Round 8 of the Principality Premiership see us welcome top of the table Ebbw Vale to Sardis Road.

Saturday’s game has all the prospects of being yet another exciting encounter. With the later kick off time of 5.15pm with the match being screened live on S4C Scrum V.

Ebbw Vale the only team with a 100% record in the premiership come to the House of Pain with 7 wins from 7 games and on the back of a 22 pts to 7 victory over Gwent rivals Cross Keys.

Pontypridd come into this game following an impressive away win at St Helens beating Swansea 32 pts to 5. Pontypridd have made several forced changes to the starting XV with Cameron Lewis back from Blues regional duty replacing youngster Dafydd Thomas who has been called up for Blues under 18’s.

With Ceri Sweeney not available for selection, Ben Jones also returns from Blues Regional duty to take the position of outside half. We also welcome back Jamie Hill taking up his role inside Ben at scrum half.

Steffan Jenkins comes off the bench this week to take the No8 Position with Morgan Sieniawski taking up a position in the replacements. Rhodri Jones keeps his position in the pack after coming on as a replacement at St helens for Lloyd Evans with Joe Page taking up the Hooker position with Huw Dowden sidelined due to a hamstring Injury.
